Applying Ashely Banjo's Secret Street Crew knowledge in Daily Life, that's the secret!

What I love about watching the television? Those reality shows that project the story of ordinary human beings, not only the superstars.
At least, those shows tell me that, 'uncelebrities' also dare to talk, act and sing in front of the camera. Amazing!

Two days ago, I watched Ashley Banjo's  Secret Street Crew for the first time. Ahh, I could not take my eyes off the show and him. Man, he is so confident and handsome and tall. He is Awesome! Now I will tell you why he and Secret Street Crew is awesome...

Google: Ashley's SSC

Ashley is an English street dance and choreography of the dance group Diversity who won Britain's Got Talent in 2009. That's not the climax of it...

In Ashley's Secret Street Crew, he wants to show the world that English people can dance too. He did his homework. He walks the talks because he is showing us that, nothing is impossible. He gives hope to the normal people who wants to dance like him.

Google: The Role Players with Ashley in the middle

1. Believe in yourself
One guy did not dare to "SAY HIS NAME OUT LOUD" during their warm up session. After knowing that he hardly expressed himself in front of his loved one, Ashley suggested him to sing for the intro of their dance song. That's how he began to know people loved his voice.

Another guy was single because he has no confidence. Weird because he was handsome, you know. When he participated in this reality show, his self esteem increased and he had the guts to date a girl, finally.

2. Be serious in everything
"Practice makes perfect". Practice without teamwork does not make the dance perfect.

Some of the dancers did not come for the rehearsal. They just missing in action for few sessions of the rehearsal. When they finally danced together, things became better. Everything became much better when they found time to practice dancing at home, by watching their own dance video recorded in the studio.

3. Think of solution, quick
Ashley knew things will get worsen if the team did not want to cooperate. One day, he brought the guys to the street, let them show-off their dancing skills. It was not that good because there was no teamwork. But that's how he wanted the guys to know what was their weakness and to improve!

He knew one of them has zero confidence, so he let that guy record his voice for the beginning of their dancing song. That's how this MR.GUY started to love his own voice.

My Second Surprise in a week. Whoa!

mcD glass from the student
Ever since I was a child, I had zero confidence in myself. Zero, it is a fact. No matter what I did, there seemed that , there were a soft yet powerful inner voice told me that , "I can never do things right."

In my 22 years' life, I always admire and look up to people, instead of telling myself, I can show the achievement to myself too. I was silly? Yes I was.

In this one year, things happened and I view life from 4 different angle of camera. Awesome? Yes, it is because I realize that when we feel confident, we can perform our task with awesome heart in reality world.

Today, my students gave me the mcD glass by surpirse. Of course, I was delighted because I never thought that I am in their heart, as a teacher. Last week, I was given 2 awesome pens by a kindergarten student.

It is a blessing because I wished that I got a chance to teach the small children or giving tuition lessons to primary school students. Never did I imagine that I can kill two birds with a stone this time.

I am thankful. Life is great, depends on how you view and react to the situation.

We can be kind enough by pressing "OPEN DOOR" button in elevator

When you are in the elevator,
it's so important for you to....

press the "Open Door" button as long as possible...

because there are few groups of people who need kind people to hold the door longer such as...

1. A person who is carrying a child

2. A person who is pushing a pram

3. There are too many people who are waiting to enter the elevator

It's as easy as pie to do good, in the elevator.

She came to Malacca...

It was an unpredictable trip to Malacca. She was supposed to come to Malacca like, 2 months ago but her trip was cancelled.

Never did I imagine that we get to meet up again in my hometown after 'stop seeing' each other in 3D world for 6 months.
Within the 6 months, we saw each other through the 2D screen-webcam:)

We met at Nadeje, Plaza Mahkota. That was the first time I went to the cafe because usually I go to the cafe located in Dataran Pahlawan or Mahkota Parade. Luckily, she saw me the moment I stepped into the beautiful cafe.
Time does move like a racing car. She mentioned that I was thinner compared to 6 months ago. I wished she saw me 2 months ago because I was thin-er. We talked lots and reminisced the wonderful memories staying in the university hostel.

Somehow, we felt kind of sad because our another lovely roommate is coming next week, not this week. Else, we can gather and have lots of fun together since I will not be going back for this semester.

You know, it had been like 6 months since we took picture together. That's very exciting and awesome to capture pictures again, with this young lady named Hui San.

I am looking forward to meet Yong next week.

Winnnie,not the Tiny

Winnie is the girl whom I met in University Toastmasters Club in our university.

The first impression of her?
She is smaller in size with strong determination!

To be honest, we aren't that close at all. But we are not completely strangers because there are few unique things about her that makes me adore her.

1. She is a responsible person
When she was doing her first speech in UTC, she did it very well until the evaluator mentioned that, there was no mistake at all. No matter how simple or complete a task is, she will do her best. That's the Winnie I know.

2. She is pretty
Her eyes are bright as the shiny star. She has nice teeth pretty smile. Sometime I just wonder, how on earth does a girl has this perfect flawless face.

3. She loves to share her experience
Recently, she just told me how important the table topic session in Toastmasters that can apply in our working life. Thankfully she told me that because I kept wondering, what can I do other than speaking for the light to turn red!

She is a person who can makes you feel better after talking to her.
I am fortunate to get to know her in university.
